
This from the NHTSA website,Interesting how it describes "could result in catastophic engine damage at high engine operating speeds"-and presumably high vehicle speeds, then go on to say that if this happens and oil gets on the tire, "this could cause handling issues"??????I'd say that was a major understatement and lets hope its not just a way for BMW to avoid telling customers not to ride their bikes. I would be very surprised if the customer letters did not say to stop riding immediately.
